Summer League is an important part of the basketball calendar. While participants are vying for the last remaining NBA roster spots, it also serves as an audition for the EuroLeague, G League, NBL, and other top international leagues around the globe. Let’s look through all the Australian participants from the 2026 Summer League and discuss where they are likely to be playing next year.
Rocco Zikarsky | C | Minnesota Timberwolves

- Stats: 12.2 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 1.6 APG, 1.8 BPG, 50 FG%, 21.4 3P%
- Grade: B-
After a debut season with the Minnesota Timberwolves mostly playing for their G League affiliate, Rocco Zikarsky entered the 2026 Summer League as the starting centre. The Queenslander had a solid tournament where he showcased his ability as a rim protector and lob threat. He also showed off an improved three-point stroke, albeit only making 3. With Rudy Gobert and Joan Beringer ahead of him, expect Zikarsky to continue developing in the G League next season.
Luke Travers | SF | Milwaukee Bucks
- Stats: 5.5 PPG, 2.3 RPG, 1 APG, 31.8 FG%, 30.8 3P%
- Grade: C-
After being waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Luke Travers made his 5th Summer League appearance as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks. Travers was unable to shoot the ball efficiently, but his defense and all-around physicality were on display. He will be in the mix for another two-way contract this summer, but if that fails to materialize, a return to the NBL is possible.
Flynn Cameron | SF | Portland Trail Blazers

- Stats: 10.3 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 3.3 APG, 50 FG%, 42.9 3P%
- Grade: A
Kiwi Flynn Cameron had an outstanding tournament with the Portland Trail Blazers, most notably a 16-point, 5-rebound, 4-assist performance against the Nuggets, shooting 6/8 from the field. Unless he receives a surprise two-way offer, he will return to the Adelaide 36ers next season to pursue a Championship with Bryce Cotton.
Lachlan Olbrich | C | Golden State Warriors
- Stats: 6.4 PPG, 2 RPG, 1.2 APG, 40 FG% (Does not include the California Classic)
- Grade: B+
Lachlan Olbrich started his Summer League off strong in the California Classic, posting 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists against San Antonio. He then followed that up with an outstanding 21-point, 6-rebound outing on a perfect 7/7 from the field against the Miami Heat. As Golden State got deep into the tournament, he saw his playing time reduced, but he still impressed with his basketball IQ and touch around the rim. He still has strides to make with his defense and rebounding, particularly as an undersized centre, but expect him to be on an NBA roster before the start of the season.
Will Hickey | PG | Los Angeles Lakers

- Stats: 4 PPG, 4.4 RPG, 1.8 APG, 50 FG%, 33.3 3P%
- Grade: B
2025 NBL Champion Will Hickey earned a starting role with the Los Angeles Lakers for this Summer League. The Lakers asked Hickey to play his usual style of high-IQ, unselfish basketball, with a focus on setting up first-round pick Cameron Carr. Expect to see more of Will Hickey’s best this season as the Illawarra Hawks look to bounce back from a disappointing 2026 season.
Oscar Cluff | C | Houston Rockets
- Stats: 4 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 0.4 APG, 46.7 FG%
- Grade: B-
After a successful senior season at Purdue, Oscar Cluff displayed his rebounding and interior scoring ability for the Houston Rockets. As someone with limited athleticism who turns 25 this year, a move to the NBL or another international league seems likely.
Harry Wessels | C | San Antonio Spurs
- Stats: 3 PPG, 3.8 RPG, 0.3 APG, 71.4 FG%
- Grade: A-
Harry Wessels did nothing wrong in limited game time with San Antonio, scoring the ball efficiently and rebounding well. He will reportedly be joining reigning NBL champions, the Sydney Kings, for the 2027 season.
Anthony Dell’Orso | SF | Sacramento Kings
- Stats: 3.5 PPG, 0.5 RPG, 1.5 APG, 50 FG%, 33.3 3P% (Note: Fixed a typo where the original text had FG% twice)
- Grade: B-
After a disappointing senior season at Arizona, Anthony Dell’Orso showed that he can defend and shoot at an NBA level this Summer League. Expect Dell’Orso to demand interest from leagues around the world, including the NBL and EuroLeague.
Will Johnston | SG | New York Knicks
- Stats: 0.5 PPG, 1.3 RPG, 0.3 APG, 14.3 FG%
- Grade: D+
Former Richmond Spiders guard Will Johnston was unable to get his shot to fall for the New York Knicks. Despite the inefficiency, Johnston played solid defense and looked up to the pace of the game. Expect interest from the NBL and abroad.
Excluded from the list due to barely playing any minutes:
- Kuany Kuany
- Max Mackinnon
